The old Fairy Tale about trolls under the bridge?

Do you think they might have been refering to homeless people? I have seen them hanging out under bridges before and they do look a lot like trolls. What’s more, I definately would want to warn my children about them.
Understand, homeless people aren’t a recent phenomenon. Because for as long as people have been living in homes, there’s been people who didn’t. And I bet you bums were hanging out under bridges in medieval times just as they do now.

Yeah, dude, you’re totally right. Bums under the bridge pretty much ARE trolls, I mean, just look at them! They’re dirty and grimy and smelly and loaf around under bridges drinking vodka and listerine. If you made little ceramic models of them, old ladies would probably adorn their gardens with them. And, yes, you are right, you CAN’T trust your children around them.
Basically, just good observation, man.
